How do approval cards work in LuviBot?
When LuviBot has a generation ready, it shows an approval card with the model, the main settings, the prompt and the price in credits. Nothing starts until you press Generate, unless the card is under your auto-approve limit.
What the card shows
- The model and the price in credits. The price comes from LUVI's billing, not from LuviBot's own arithmetic; if LuviBot mentions a price while you are talking, the one on the card is the one you pay.
- The main settings: resolution, aspect ratio or size, duration, quality and whether the video has sound, when the model has them.
- A line for each reference you gave it, such as an image from your library.
- Your rules at work. When a saved rule changed a setting, the card says so, for example Video resolution: 1080p. When you asked to break a rule just this once, it says different this time.
- The prompt, under Show prompt.
The buttons
- Generate starts the generation. Pressing it twice, or in two tabs, still starts only one.
- Change puts Change this on the card: in the message box. Write what should be different and LuviBot prepares a new card. The first card stays on screen and can still be started, so press Cancel on it if you no longer want it.
- Cancel closes a card that is still waiting.
Cards that start by themselves, and cards that ask twice
If you have set an auto-approve limit in Rules & limits, a card at or under it starts without a click and says Started on its own — it's under your auto-approve limit.
A card above your upper limit, or above a Credit cap per generation rule, asks twice: the first Generate turns into Generate anyway.
Where the result is saved
A chat started from a project's Workspace, or given a project on LuviBot's full page, saves into that project. Otherwise LuviBot asks which project to use before the first card. Name an existing project, or a new one and it creates it. If you have no preference, it makes a project called LuviBot.
While it runs, and after
The card shows Generating…. You can close LuviBot or leave the page; the result lands in your library. When it arrives, LuviBot plays a short chime and a yellow number appears on its button. Your browser may hold back the sound until you have clicked somewhere on the page.
- In the panel, the result appears as thumbnails in the chat. Click one for a large view with its details.
- On the full page, each result comes with Open in library, Use as reference, Open in workspace (when the chat has a project) and Download.
- After a photo edit, a line such as Checked: aspect ratio unchanged, 12% of the picture changed tells you how much of the picture actually changed.
A card can also end as Blocked by the content policy. In that case LuviBot explains why and suggests something it can make instead.
Frequently asked
Is a failed generation charged?
No. Credits are taken only when a finished result is saved. A card that fails shows "Failed — nothing was charged".
Can I stop a generation after it has started?
No. Cancel works only while the card is still waiting for you. Once a generation is running, it finishes on its own.
Why did the price change when I pressed Generate?
Generate checks the price again before anything starts. If it has gone up since the card was made, the card shows the new price and waits for you to press Generate once more.
